Bark Madness & Spring

Bark Madness & Spring

Happy April, Kismet Fam! It’s Chrissy & John, popping in as we step into a new month together. March felt like a shift in the best way: a new season, a lot of movement, and so many moments that reminded us why this pack means so much to us.

This month, we introduced you to our Year of Kismet pups: Maybelle, Kahlo, and Tofu. We’re following their adoption journeys all year long while cheering them on, supporting them, and making sure their bowls stay full of Kismet every step of the way. Getting to share their stories with you is something we care really deeply about.

As part of that, we’ve been thinking a lot about how to make Kismet work for more dogs and more households. We listened to your feedback and introduced new 4lb bags, making it easier to try our clinically proven food or to feed smaller dogs. It’s something we’re really excited to finally have out in the world.

We’re still riding the high from our Firecracker Paw’er Walk in Chinatown LA at the very end of February. With over 300 dogs, it was our biggest walk ever, and seeing that many pups (and people) show up felt really special. Afterward, Dr. Kwane and our CEO Mathe handed out 300+ shaker pup cups! A perfect ending to a day full of very happy dogs.

And in slightly more serious news… we took Petey and Pearl to the PetSmart Rally for Truth to finally answer the question: is it PetSmart or Pets Mart? This one was really Chrissy’s idea, and honestly, we had way too much fun with it.

We also kicked off Bark Madness, our version of March Madness, where we’re putting dog breeds head-to-head to see who takes it all. The competition has been intense (and a little controversial), and we’ve loved seeing everyone get involved.

And just like that, spring showed up. Longer walks, more time outside, and that feeling of starting fresh again for us and for the pups, with a little extra attention to seasonal allergies this time of year.

Thank you for being part of all of this with us. We’re heading into April feeling really grateful and very excited for what’s next.

With love,
Chrissy & John
