Happy February, Kismet Fam! It’s Chrissy & John here, popping in to say hello as we step into a new month. January always feels like a quiet reset after the rush of the holidays with slower mornings, longer walks, and a little extra time spent soaking in the small moments with our family and pups. We hope the new year has been treating you (and your dogs) gently so far.
January gave us a strong start to the year, setting the tone for what we’re excited to build next.
We started the year by shining a light on pets still waiting for their forever homes, partnering with Pasadena Humane and donating Kismet food to support their Helping Paws Pet Food Pantry. Supporting rescue partners and the families they serve is something we care deeply about, and it means the world to do it alongside you.
We also kicked up some dust in Las Vegas with a Pack Walk hosted by @dobermomlife. Seeing pups meet new friends, humans connect, and that familiar pack energy come to life never gets old. These are the moments that remind us why community is at the heart of everything we do.
Back on the feed, we bundled up with @newyorkgoodboys, celebrating winter walks, chilly noses, and dogs who somehow don’t notice the cold at all. Honestly, if the pups can power through, so can we!
And of course, we dropped another episode of the Bark & Rant Pawdcast, featuring Petey, Pearl, Pebbles, and Dudley. Just another reminder that no matter how planned a conversation is, the dogs will always run the show.
As we move further into 2026, we’re feeling especially excited about what’s ahead. This year, we’ll be following along with a few very special newly adopted rescue pups by cheering them on, supporting them, and sharing their journeys as they settle into their new lives. More to come on this, we can’t wait to introduce you soon.
