Happy June, Kismet Fam!
It’s us, Chrissy & John, popping in as we head into summer with the pack. May felt full in the best way: more walks, more community, more dogs, and so many moments that reminded us how lucky we are to build Kismet alongside you.
Before we jump into everything June has in store, here’s a little look back.
First, a belated Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there, including the dog moms, of course. We loved celebrating all the care, love, snacks, walks, and everyday devotion that comes with being a dog parent. The pups are lucky to have you.
We kicked off our May pack walks in Columbus, Ohio with Cava leading the way, and wow, Columbus showed up. Sunshine, Midwest energy, the sweetest dogs, and plenty of sidewalk sniffing made the whole day feel really special. We also headed to Santa Monica for Charlie’s pack walk, which meant so much because Charlie became our very first senior host. Seeing dogs of every age out there together reminded us how lucky we are to watch this community come to life in cities across the country.
May was also our first full month in Target, which still feels surreal to say out loud. Seeing your photos, videos, and messages from store aisles across the country has been one of our favorite parts of the month. To close out the month, we celebrated National Rescue Dog Day with our Year of Kismet pups: Maybelle, Kahlo, and Tofu. Following their adoption journeys this year has already meant so much to us, and spotlighting rescue dogs, and the people who give them loving homes, will always be one of the most important parts of Kismet.
And just like that, summer is starting to peek through. Longer evenings, more time outside, more adventures with the pups, and maybe even a few things we’re cooking up in NYC for the World Pup that we can’t wait to share more about soon 👀
