Halloween & Pack Walks

Halloween & Pack Walks

Happy November! Chrissy and John here, checking in like we always do at the top of each month. October had it all, from wag-worthy weather, spooky getups, and plenty of moments that reminded us why this pack is so special.

We kicked things off under the California sun with our Pack Walk at Muscle Beach, in partnership with Hot Dog on a Stick. Between seaside strolls, corn dogs, Shakers pup cups, and new friends, it was the perfect mix of sunshine and serotonin. Nothing beats seeing our LA pack out in full force with paws in the sand, tails wagging, and spirits high.

Back on the East Coast, we joined our partners at Muddy Paws Rescue NYC for their annual Block Party, a day full of rescue love, portraits with Wet Nose Pawject, and community connection with our NYC Kismet Pack. It was one of those events that reminds us what we’re all about — celebrating the bond between people and their pets (and meeting a few future Kismet pups along the way).

Then came Tompkins Square Park’s Halloween Parade, and we are still obsessed over all the costumes. The creativity was next-level! Pups rocked their Halloween looks, pawrents going all in with the matching costumes. And the energy? Unmatched. Seeing all the content the team captured gave us serious FOMO, and honestly, it’s inspiring us to start planning our own costumes next year… can’t wait to join in with all our dogs!

Speaking of costumes… we also sent Halloween outfits to the adoptable dogs at PAWS Chicago, and let’s just say they understood the assignment. Every pup looked ready for some Trick-or-Treating (and a forever home)! We can’t get enough of them, and if you’re looking to add a new member to your pack, check out their adoptable dogs here 💛

And of course, we couldn’t wrap up October without mentioning The Fetch Pet Gala, hosted by Fetch Pet Insurance and presented by Kismet. It was such a special night with a mix of glam, giving, and so much love for the pet community. Together, we helped raise over $530,000 for four incredible organizations doing real, meaningful work: Project Street Vet, Wags and Walks, Broadway Cares, and Broadway Barks.

John even surprised the after-party with a special performance (still can’t believe that happened!) and seeing everyone come together for such a good cause reminded us exactly why we do what we do. It was pure magic.

Last but not least, extra pets, treats, and applause for our October Top Dog winner, Mac! The ultimate embodiment of pack energy: playful, loving, and impossibly cute.

We’re feeling so grateful as we head into November, for every event, every handshake (and pawshake), and every person who’s helped make this community what it is. Here’s to cozy walks, early sunsets, and savoring the last bits of fall together. 🍂
