Project Street Vet x Kismet Pet Food Pantry Opening

As part of our ongoing partnership with Project Street Vet, we donated over 2,500 pounds of food to their Dog Food Pantry at the Long Beach Multi-Service Center.

"Being able to provide support for pets is being able to provide support for the person that's attached to that pet."

The Multi-Service Center is Long Beach’s go-to resource center for homeless services. "We see a lot of people that have pets out there," said Paul Duncan, the city's homeless services bureau manager. "Having pets is a very important part of people's lives. We know that it provides a sense of well-being and unconditional love. Being able to provide support for those pets is being able to provide support for the person who's attached to that pet as well." Watch the opening of Project Street Vet's second pet food pantry, with remarks by our Chief Vet (and Project Street Vet co-founder) Dr. Kwane Stewart and our co-founder John Legend.
