National Dog Day
August is typically a slow month for brands, but wow we packed it in.
We celebrated National Dog Day with our friends at Parachute across their stores nationwide AND we teamed up with Starbucks for parties and pack walks in Boston, Miami, Nashville, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Seattle. At each location, we worked with a local rescue org to help pups in need find their forever homes. Chrissy led the pack walk in Seattle and did her best not to bring home any more dogs (Pearl, Pebbles, Petey, and Penny are plenty). It was an incredible day of honoring how much love dogs bring to our lives. And it’s so much fun meeting the Kismet community IRL.
Our limited edition merch is going fast. We polled everyone on Instagram to find out which dog breed we should feature afterThe Poodle T-Shirt sells through…and you voted mega mutt! Love it. Pebbles is very pleased. Our team will get to work on that.
We also launched an informative series called Ask Dr. Kwane in which he answers your frequently asked questions about pet health, our food for dogs, etc. His expertise and experience are fundamental to Kismet’s success – we’re constantly learning from him!
